MAJ. Willie A. Jackson, Principal
Major (Retired) Willie A. Jackson was born and raised in Quincy, Florida and is a 1981 graduate of James A. Shanks High. He is a proven leader and team builder in both military and education environments. He entered the education profession after retiring from the United States Army (25 years) as a Major. He is currently the principal of Carter-Parramore Academy and in the 13th year of employment with Gadsden County Public Schools. He earned Bachelor and Master degrees from Troy University (Troy, Alabama) and a Doctorate of Education from Northcentral University (Prescott, Arizona). Major Jackson is married to the former Aronia Brady of Quincy, Florida and they have three adult children (Shadrick, Monsieur and Shaniqua) and three grandchildren (Kobe, Khloe and Kyran).
